PERSONALITY:

Avery is a very jealous child. She gets jealous very easy, mostly about her siblings and her parents, but also when it comes to boys she likes. If she sees someone else going for a guy she likes, sabotage mode kicks in. She turns into a completely different girl, which has caused her lots of trouble in the past. But she knows she's a very pretty girl, and wealthy, and feels she deserves everything she sets her sights on.

Avery can also be the best friend you've ever asked for. If you aren't a threat to her, that is. She's sweet to people who can get past the exterior, the hard ass bitch. She's great at keeping secrets, and knows a lot of secrets, because she likes to be in everyone's business. Unfortunately her depth doesn't go very far, at least not when it comes down to anything that truly matters. She's a material girl, with lots of money and nothing but a need to spend it on herself.

Avery lives in the present. It's not that she isn't planning for her future, because she is, but she doesn't see the point in planning for things that could never happen. She is the type of girl who thinks of the consequences after they've already happened. The girl isn't wild and crazy, but she's not put together either.

HISTORY:

Avery is the second child born to Demelza and Malcolm Baddock, but not the last. She's right smack dab in the middle, two years younger than her elder sister, Ellie, and a year older than her brother, Ethan. She knew that before she was born, Ellie was her father's pride and joy, she was the princess. And then Avery came along, and stole the title away from her elder sister. She always figured that was why the girl had pretty much X-ed herself out, but it didn't really matter to Avery. She was a very jealous child, especially after Ethan was born, and stole all of the attention of her parents away from her.

Avery seemed to spend her entire childhood in Daniella's shadow, and would throw a fit if she got something better than she did. She’d go out of her way to make sure neither of her siblings would get something she had, even if she didn’t want it, which included breaking toys so no one could. Ellie was always so quiet, for a while at least, and Avery was the opposite. She was loud, trying to get the attention she just couldn't seem to get being in the middle. She resented it, but she still loved her siblings. She just wanted to feel equal. As children, she wouldn't say she was very close to either of her siblings, actually quite jealous, but she would never admit it.

When Avery finally got to Hogwarts two years after Daniella she was worried about the sorting. She didn't want to be in Gryffindor like her sister. She didn't want to be in her shadow, and she didn't want to be looked at differently by her father either. But she was sorted into Slytherin, where she made friends with a group of gossipy, rich girls that fit in with who she was and who she wanted to be. People would forget she was Ellie's sister after a while, which was fine by her. And when Daniella graduated it was even better, because it was her school.
