PERSONALITY:

Adoria is not one of those scheming and backstabbing girls. She's the complete opposite of that. She's a sweet girl and the thought of betraying her friend is not one that would cross her mind. She's kind, often helping others if they need it. No, not doing their homework, but sitting down and teaching them if they ask for her help. Adoria might not be the most open person, but she is friendly. She doesn't like giving the impression that she is standoffish, so she'll smile and grin instead of giving the person a blank look.

Adoria is a romantic at heart, believing in true love and soul mates and all that jazz. It probably doesn't help that romance novels where the girl and boy end up together despite all the trials and tribulations are her favourite type of books. She has led a sheltered life, and the only negative thing that has happened to her is getting a scolding from her parents. One can say Adoria is naive, believing in true love and believing that one day she will find her Prince Charming.

She has high expectations of herself and Adoria often has feelings of guilt and inadequacies. She can feel guilty over the smallest things and will remain so for the rest of the day, even after she has apologised and the person has forgiven her. The decisions she makes are mostly based on her feelings and how they'll affect people. She can be easily manipulated as she feels sorry for people.

HISTORY:

Harold Jupitus and Noelle Baxton was as normal as one got. They both held jobs in the British television industry. They dated for three years, before marrying. They had one daughter, who was placed in the care of her aunt, Naomi. Naomi was a writer who worked from home. She was a writer for Witch Weekly, as well as other Muggle magazines. Noelle Baxton wasn’t a witch, but her sister was. Harold Jupitus wasn’t a wizard and had absolutely no inkling about magic. So it was for the best when Adoria was looked after by her aunt, for her signs of magic appeared early on in her childhood. Floating objects around the house, puddles of water appearing randomly and Adoria asking if she could ride the broomstick after seeing a photograph that her aunt left lying about.

When Adoria was seven, her mother finally told her father that Adoria and Naomi were witches. Harold was surprised and it took the better part of a year for him to be fully accepting of it. But he came around. From then on, Adoria received lessons from her aunt, who saw that the young girl was curious and willing to learn. Her letter to Hogwarts came soon enough and if her father had any doubts that this was just an elaborate joke played on him, that soon vanished when he saw Diagon Alley. Adoria, on her part, was quite pleased to finally see Diagon Alley, as her aunt had been promising to bring her there since she was nine.

Going to Hogwarts, and the journey there, was very exciting to the young girl. The ride over the lake? Just fantastic. Adoria was sorted into Hufflepuff, and she happily settled down there. She wrote regularly to her parents and aunt, telling them of her house mates, her grades and her Professors. Adoria got along with her house mates and her Professors, for the most part. Her grades were always good and with some encouragement from her Professors, Adoria soon became one of the top students in her year. In her fifth year, she started dating Fred Weasley. Her grades did drop a little, for Fred was quite a distraction.

Now in her last year of Hogwarts, Adoria is aiming to work in the Ministry and is working hard on her studies to ensure that she does get the position she wants there.
